MY LIMERICK'S
by Margie Hayes

Jenny had a little bird,
Who sang the sweetest ever heard.
A song to God to glorify,
A song to man to mystify.
-------------- --
That darn old cat
She caught a rat
And brought it home to me
She let it go
It bit my toe
Now I'm in agony.
---------------
There was a mouse
Big as a house
Because he ate the cheese
He ate my cat
The dirty rat
Now he does as he please.
---------------
There was a goat named Myrtle
Who always wore a girdle
She fell out of bed
And hit her head
She now lives as a turtle.
