GREETING CARD POEMS
by Margie Hayes

Thank you for fond memories
You've gave me through the years.
Thank you for the comfort lent,
When I was brought to tears.
If I could but repay you,
For all that you have done.
You wouldn't want for anything,
Under God's bright sun.

I hear you haven't been too well,
So I send this card to say,
I hope you're on your feet real soon,
Then you'll brighten up my day.

Thankyou for your friendship, dear.
It means a lot to me.
I only wish for you the best
Where ever we may be.
********************
I hear that its your birthday!
I'll raise a toast to you.
I wish you health and happiness,
And hope your dreams come true.
********************
I want to thank you for the fun,
I had on our last date.
If it's a preview of whats to come,
Then I can hardly wait.
********************
I know that its your birthday,
I hope that it's first rate
You deserve the very best,
Because I think your're great.
********************
I hope your birthdays the very best,
That's why I send this rhyme.
Our friendship mellows through the years,
Just like a fine old wine.
********************
I miss the great times that we've had,
I'd love to sit and chat.
I'll always hold our friendship high,
Where ever we are at.
*****************
***
I wish that we lived nearer,
So I could tell you to your face,
The friendship that we have my dear,
The years, can not erase.
