Cabbage & Beef Roll-ups
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. cornflakes, crushed to
make 1/2 c.
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp.
Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
8 large
cabbage leaves
1/4 c. water
Combine beef, cornflakes, onion, Worcestershire sauce,
salt, paprika, pepper and half the tomato sauce; mix
well. Divide into 8 equal portions. Steam cabbage leaves
until limp, about 5 minutes. Fold leaves in half; place a
portion of meat mixture at stem end of each cabbage leaf.
Rool up; place in fry pan. Add remaining tomato sauce and
water. Cover; simmer until meat is done, about 30
minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
