BON BONS

2 lbs. powdered sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. almond or vanilla
dash salt
1 lge. pkg. coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
cherries or nuts (opt)
Combine powdered sugar, butter, flavoring, salt, coconut and milk. Form into balls with cherry or nut inside.

TOPPING:
1 lge. pkg. chocolate pieces
2/3 bar paraffin

Melt chocolate pieces and paraffin over hot water. Dip ball into chocolate-paraffin mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours. Yield: 2-3 doz.

BON BONS #2

1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 sticks margerine softened
2 lb. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. pecans, chopped
1 box coconut
1 lb. chocolate
1 square paraffin


Combine milk and margerine. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat. Add pecans and coconut. Place in refrigerator until cold Form into bon bon balls. Melt chocolate and paraffin in double boiler. Dip ball into chocolate. NOTE: the mix can be divided and various kinds of nuts or cherries and flavorings used. Yield: 4 lbs.
