by Margie Hayes
Love is giving of oneself,
And giving is such bliss.
I love to hold you in my arms,
I tingle from your kiss.
You make me feel so young again,
Like when we used to date.
I still feel the thrill I felt,
When you made me, your life's mate.
Although our looks has changed a lot,
And we are old and gray,
I love you now as I did when
We were young and gay.
Our back is bent and walk is slow,
Sometimes its hard to hear.
But where we go its hand in hand,
I love you so my dear.
I dedicate this poem to the best soul partner around, Joe. I love you honey.
