SCALLOPED CORN CRISP

1 (16 0z.) can creamed style corn
2 T. finely chopped onion
2 T. finely chopped green pepper
1 c. coarsely broken cracker crumbs
2/3 c. evaporated milk (undiluted)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 T. butter

Mix corn, onions & green peppers in bowl, pour half the mixture in bottom of 1-qt. buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with half of cracker crumbs and add remaining corn mixture, then top with remaining cracker crumbs. Mix milk with seasonings and pour over corn mixture. Dot with butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
